Opti-Time RMS 7.5.8 is now available !

The version 7.5.8 of Opti-Time Resource Management Suite contains major enhancements in the route map display function, and mobility and background re-optimization functions.
This new version also displays the CO2 emissions, calculated on the basis of fuel type and average consumption.
Simultaneous and interactive display of the planning and the corresponding map
When changing the date in the schedule, the map is automatically refreshed to display the corresponding day of the route. When flying over a task with the mouse in the schedule, it is highlighted on the map.
Mobil portal : displaying the itinerary from a task
it is now possible to locate an appointment or to launch the navigation to get there from the detail of a task in the Mobile Portal, using Google Maps. Two icons appear above the detail of the task, they allow to locate it on the Google map and to calculate the route to get there.Re-optimization and calculation of CO2 emisions
It is possible to launch the re-optimization manually.The "View the latest optimizations" button displays a window that lists recent optimizations. Indicators whose values were calculated before and after optimization can be displayed. This allows a better appreciation of the benefices.

ChronoMap new enhancements to balance territories

The 5.3 Version brings major enhancements to individual assignments and territories balancing functions. It also contains a new feature: Attachment.
All these enhancements make ChronoMap more competitive for team organization and workload balancing, for issues such as assignment of technicians, balancing customers portfolio or distribution sectors.
Enhancement of the function of « territories balancing »
This function allows to share out customers between resources in a fair way, and to visualize the created sectors and affectations on a map.- New indicators: it is now possible to visualize the lines of the sectors, and to determine and visualize centroids (spots that are located at the geographic centre of the sector). It is also possible to associate territories to pre-existing resources, and to visualize the result. Thus, it is for instance possible to identify the geographic relevancy of existing resources (agencies, warehouses, outlets), and to determine the ideal location of new resource.
- New criteria for individual assignment: until now, individual assignment was only depending on criterion of proximity. The new version brings in 2 new criteria: a qualitative criterion, and a quota of assignment. Thus, it is possible to generate balanced sectors between technicians, taking in account their competencies and customer’s needs.
New function : Attachment
This function consists in associating to a “center” the “n” closest points of this center. The fundamental difference with individual assignment function is that the assignment is based first on the number of points to assign rather than on proximity. It is also possible to incorporate a qualitative criterion for this function.

TourSolver 5.9 Release : CO2 emisions calculation

TourSolver 5.9 takes into account C02 emissions related to the routes made by the fleet of vehicles. The calculation of the emission of greenhouse gases is based on the amount of fuel consumed and on the fuel type (Diesel, unleader 95/98, LPG)This release also integrates geocoding functions when TourSolver is used with MapInfo.
