1/ Configuring and scheduling appointments:

Opti-Time offers an appointment scheduling interface that displays available delivery times.
They are displayed according to the availability of your delivery persons, and the geographic location of stores and customers.

The most suitable and cost-effective time slots are shown. They correspond to the shortest distances and the best fit into the delivery person's schedule.

You can configure each type of equipment to be delivered to evaluate the resources needed and time required at each customer location as accurately as possible: equipment weight, delivery vehicle needed, number of delivery persons, unloading time at the customer's location, hook-up and activation time, removal of old equipment, etc.

You can also configure the out-of-stock period needed between the order and delivery; in other words, the time needed to restock the warehouse.

The scheduling also respects work rules specific to your business: rules related to Human Resources (legal working hours, overtime, time off, etc.), type of service call, (customer after-sale contracts, time periods, skills required and type of technician needed).

2/ Planning and managing new service call requests:

The system generates optimized schedules for each delivery person: workload balancing, improved route itineraries and reduced travel distance, rationalization of the number of resources used.

There are two methods for creating schedules:

• Overall scheduling, which includes previously identified customers and calculates set routes in a few minutes (forecasted schedule).
• Incremental scheduling, which adds new customers in "real time" and manages routes in a few seconds (appointment and emergency planning).

You can reorganise your routes in real time, based on new appointments scheduled or uncertainties (delays, absences, cancelled appointment, product unavailability).

Opti-Time reschedules deliveries while maintaining other appointments that have already been scheduled.

Your teams are directly notified by SMS on their mobile device (Iphone, Blackberry, TomTom).

3/ Using schedules and communication:

All the information related to a delivery can be displayed directly from the schedule.

Each route's itinerary can be viewed dynamically on a map.

You facilitate your teams' activities and make it easy for them to provide feedback: delivery personnel report the successful completion of a delivery with a single click.
